To increase the knowledge among the Small and Medium Entrepreneurs, SMEs on the procedure and the methods that can be used in branding and marketing with the limited resources, the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources in the afternoon organised a workshop on Branding and Marketing on a Shoestring Budget.

Present was the Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yahya. The workshop was jointly organised by the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources through the Entrepreneurial Development Centre and the American Embassy in Brunei Darussalam. The workshop was divided into two sessions, namely a brief introduction on Branding and Marketing on a Shoestring Budget and a presentation on the Low Cost Marketing Tactic. Both presentations were delivered by the guest speaker, the Managing Director of Experiential Hands-On Learning, Miss Pamela Wigglesworth. Through this workshop, it is hoped for the SMEs to have a better understanding of the strategies applied and the use of appropriate methods related to branding and also in marketing at a low and minimum cost.
