jigsaw puzzle pieces

Do you struggle to see the Big Picture?

April 29, 2016 By: Pamela - No Comments

My mother loved solving puzzles. Every morning she would do the crossword puzzle in the newspaper, yet her favourite type of puzzles were jigsaw puzzles. The more pieces, the better.

I remember one of her most challenging puzzles was a picture of a woman driving a car through a quaint little village city-center street. The picture was bright, colourful and whimsical in nature.

The fascinating thing was that the picture on the box cover was not what the final puzzle picture would turn out to be.

The puzzle image was actually what the female driver saw in her rearview mirror. What was on the cover and the final puzzle outcome were two different things. The puzzle image was a mystery.

I thought to myself, how on earth is Mom going to finish this; how will she know where to start if she doesn’t even know the big picture?

When I thought about it, this uncertainty of direction is the same thing I see happening amongst some entrepreneurs and SMEs when it comes to marketing their business.

Marketing is like the puzzle within the company, it’s a big mystery. No one really knows what the big picture is.

And yet everyday people arrive at the office wondering, what should I do to market the business so that we can gain new leads and sell more product or services? Every day marketing has become a mystery.

I get it.

It’s hard to know how to plan your day to reach new consumers when you don’t know the big picture that will kick-start the process of where to begin.

How can you do this as a solopreneur or as a small business owner how can you tell your team where to start when you don’t have an overall big picture strategy?

That’s where I come in.

We’re bringing back the SME 101 Marketing Bootcamp on 2nd-3rd June and 11th – 12th July 2016.

The SME 101 Marketing Bootcamp is going to give you the clarity you need to see your big picture.

I will start with getting you clear about just what marketing is; then identifying your true ideal customer so that you can create a marketing message specific to him or her.

Next you will tap into the top three ways to get your business noticed, drive traffic to your business, increase leads, build relationships with prospects and ultimately improve your sales.

Everything is hands-on so you design the overall marketing strategy that is right for you; right for your business. No putting square pegs into a round hole here.

Return to the office armed with an action plan that you can begin executing right away.

Here’s what one participant had to say about her experience and results from the Bootcamp.

Sadly, the individuals and companies who aren’t willing to invest their time and money to get educated on how to effectively market their business, will eventually get left behind while their competitors leap ahead and gain market share and profits.

In this bear economy, can you afford to take the risk of not educating yourself and your team?

Let me help.
